CREST Drugs Advisory Group
The CREST Drugs Advisory Group was established in September 1997 under the Chairmanship of Professor Dennis Johnston to act as a focal point for expertise on issues which relate to the managed introduction of recently licensed drugs which have the potential for major impact in Northern Ireland.
The Remit of the Group is:
- to provide advice to facilitate the managed introduction of recently licensed drugs;
- to promote rational, cost-effective and safe prescribing of such drugs;
- to promote equity of access to treatment and supply of such drugs for all patients;
- to monitor the overall prescribing of such drugs in Northern Ireland.
The Group met on Thursday, 12 September 2002 to review the current CREST
