Equipment Surveys

In addition CREST has also looked at the considerable range and type of equipment used in hospitals in Northern Ireland and recognised that there was a lack of information available on the performance of this equipment for prospective purchasers.

Some reports on evaluation of equipment are available from the Medical Devices Directorate in London and it was felt that these could be supplemented taking account of locally available equipment.

A CREST Sub-Group was set up to take this forward and to date 16 user surveys have been published.

These Surveys are available to NHS personnel only and can be requested from Gary Hannan.
